Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the conference, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the importance of resilience in seniors’ mental health and the neurobiological, psychosocial and behavioural factors contributing to resilience.
  • Describe approaches to nurture and build resilience in older adults.
  • Explore the changing landscape of seniors’ mental health in Canada.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Geriatric Society. You can claim a maximum of 9 hours.
