We are looking forward to our first virtual conference and appreciate your involvement and hard work in order to make this a successful event!

  1. First fill out your CFPC disclosure slide (step 1) before completing the electronic conflict-of-interest (COI) form.
  2. Fill out the COI form (step 2). When you complete the COI form you will be given the option to upload your CFPC disclosure slide. If you have already completed your COI form and didn't upload your slide, please email it to
  3. Please refer to the program for session times.
  4. Register for the Annual Scientific Meeting. All presenters are required to register for the ASM.
  5. Email a copy of your final presentation in a PowerPoint or PDF format to no later than October 14. See further instructions below


In order to comply with the CAGP’s policy on full disclosure  and important accreditation standards set out by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada all presenters must complete or note the following:

  1. The provided CFPC disclosure slide must be used when preparing your presentation and declarations must be verbalized at the start of your presentation;
  2. A minimum of 25% of your presentation must be interactive;
  3. Generic, rather than trade names, must be used in presentations;
  4. Branding or sponsor logos are not allowed in presentation slides;
  5. It is important to write references on slides and incorporate evidence if possible; and
  6. Ensure your presentation respects the following:


Please send a copy of your final presentation in a PowerPoint and PDF format to no later than October 14, 2020. Do not forget to include the required CFPC disclosure slide at the beginning of your session. Declarations must be verbalized at the start of your presentation.                                     

Speaker presentations will be made available to delegates in the PDF format in a private area of the CAGP website after the conference. If you do not wish to have your presentation shared as a PDF post-conference, you must opt out by emailing - more importantly, please also let your audience know this during your presentation! Some delegates may be very interested in receiving the information after and are often disappointed to know it isn’t available. Video recordings of all presentations will be available to registrants after the conference.


Presentations are to be sent to If your files are too large to be sent via email, we recommend you upload them to an external source for sharing i.e., Dropbox.

When emailing your files, please ensure that your file title contains your full name (ex. Digital-Poster-John-Doe).
