The CAGP is now accepting abstracts for poster presentations for the annual scientific meeting on October 12, 2011 in Vancouver, British Columbia themed “Crisis in Geriatric Psychiatry: Perspectives from Emergency and Acute Care.” Topics should be timely and relevant to geriatric psychiatry.

There will be 30 Minutes of protected time for poster presentations and dialogue.

An Award of $500 will be presented at the meeting for the best poster.

Instructions
 

1. Poster Abstracts must be received at the CAGP head office by August 19, 2011. *deadline extended
2. Please include the title and a short summary of the presentation.
3. Please include the names, credentials and affiliations of all authors.
4. The abstract must be a maximum of 250 words. Do not submit manuscripts or full posters.
5. Posters should adhere to CPA guidelines.
6. It will be assumed that the poster will be made in the language in which the abstract is submitted.
7. The presenters will agree to have their abstract included in the CAGP newsletter.
8. You will be notified of the Program Committee’s decision regarding your submission by early August 2011. All presenters and co-presenters must register for the meeting and pay the appropriate registration fee.

The submission form must be provided electronically via email to info@cagp.ca with the subject heading “Poster Abstract CAGP 2011 Meeting”.
