CAGP Annual Scientific Meeting 2014
We are less than six months away from the 2014 CCSMH-CAGP Annual Meeting and are busy planning an exciting and engaging program. This year the conference will be held at the newly renovated Eaton Chelsea located in downtown Toronto on September 9 to 10, 2014. Keep an eye out for conference registration opening in May!
CCSHM-CAGP JSM 2014 LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1) Review novel intervention and treatment strategies in the field of senior's mental health care.
2) Explore emerging biomarkers and methods of assessment and diagnosis in senior's mental illnesses.
3) Explore national, provincial and local initiatives that impact service delivery to seniors with mental illness.
4) To appreciate ways in which simulation, literature and theatre can inform the training of dementia caregivers and add insight into mental illness in older adulthood.
We are in the midst of developing a lively program that combines academic and practical clinical presentations that will cater to a mutli-disciplinary audience.
