Online Study Group Update

29 Nov 2013 12:23 PM | Deleted user

Mark Rapoport MD FRCPC
Associate Professor, University of Toronto

We launched the 2nd CAGP Online Study Group in early November, and are only 3 modules into the program. Participants have been actively reading, discussing, and debating issues pertaining to anticholinergic and other potentially inappropriate drugs in the elderly as well as neuropsychiatric symptoms in dementia, and suicide in the elderly. They are actively practicing answering exam questions as well as reflecting on broader controversies and clinical dilemmas. Feedback from last year and from the first two modules has been very strong, and there is some burgeoning international interest in the study group as well. This year, we have not capped enrollment, in response to feedback from our members, and remain open if you wish to enroll. Please contact info@cagp.ca to do so or for more information about the study group.

PLEASE NOTE: The CAGP cannot provide patients with the names of physicians providing care to patients. The Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons in most Canadian provinces and territories maintain a website for patients to find a physician by specialty. A list of these governing bodies is available on the Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada’s website.
